Good morning, Jordan
Here is a summary of your NetworKING UK activity.
Social mobility means that where you grew up, what your parents do, or where you went to school should never determine where you end up. At NetworKING UK, we exist to change that; permanently.
In the UK today, where you grow up, which school you attend, and what your parents do for work still significantly shapes the career opportunities available to you. That is not a meritocracy — it's a system that wastes talent.
NetworKING UK was built to change that. We provide the access, the connections, and the confidence that others inherit. Free, inclusive, and open to all.
Our Approach to Social Mobility
From live events to career tools, mentorship to exclusive opportunities — we give you the same advantages that others take for granted.
A year-long programme helping young people move closer to their next opportunity — mentoring, employer insight days, work experience, leadership development, networking, personal branding, university and apprenticeship guidance, and career preparation.

NetworKING UK was founded on a simple belief: talent is everywhere, but opportunity is not. We exist to fix that.
NetworKING UK is a social mobility organisation dedicated to ensuring that where you come from never determines where you end up. We were founded by young people who understood first-hand what it means to navigate a system that was not designed with you in mind.
We have reached over 2,000 young people across the UK through events, programmes, and a growing digital platform, all completely free to members.

Social mobility means that where you grew up, what your parents do, or where you went to school should never determine where you end up.
In the UK today, your postcode, your parents' profession, and your school still have a profound impact on your career outcomes. This is not a meritocracy, it is a system that wastes talent and perpetuates inequality.
The Social Mobility Commission consistently finds that professional and managerial jobs are disproportionately occupied by those from privileged backgrounds, not because they are more talented, but because they had more access.
We connect young people directly with professionals, firms, and opportunities that would otherwise be inaccessible without the right background or connections.
Through workshops, mentorship, and practical tools, we help young people develop the confidence and competence to compete on equal terms.
We build a network of young people who share similar backgrounds and ambitions — so no one has to figure it out alone.

Co-founded NetworKING UK to close the gap between ambition and access for young people from underrepresented backgrounds. Sets the long-term vision and strategy for the organisation, and works closely with the leadership team to make sure every programme stays true to that mission.
Abdur-Rahman's belief in social mobility is what NK was built around from day one: the conviction that talent is evenly spread across the UK, but opportunity is not, and that this gap can be closed with the right access, network and support.
Co-founded NetworKING UK alongside Abdur-Rahman, driven by a belief that where you come from should never determine where you end up. Focuses on building the partnerships and programmes that turn that belief into real opportunities for members.
Dipo's work sits at the intersection of NK's mission and the organisations willing to back it — turning good intentions into tangible access: work experience, mentors, events and open doors for NK's members.
Oversees the day-to-day running of NetworKING UK, making sure every department — from partnerships to programmes — is working towards the same goal. Responsible for organisational strategy, governance, and keeping the team accountable to the young people we serve.
Angel is fond of reminding the team that "social mobility is not simply an initiative, it is the foundation of our mission" — a line that now sits at the heart of how NK talks about itself publicly.
Leads the technology behind NetworKING UK, including the member platform, application systems, and internal tools. Responsible for making sure members can access opportunities, events, and resources smoothly, and for building new digital tools as the organisation grows.
Arnav sees technology as a way of extending NK's reach — a free digital platform can, in principle, reach a student in any city in the UK just as easily as one in London, and he's focused on making sure NK's tools actually live up to that.
Manages NetworKING UK's finances, budgeting, and funding relationships. Responsible for making sure the organisation is financially sustainable so that membership and programmes like Project LIFT can remain completely free for every young person who joins.
Leads people and culture at NetworKING UK, from recruiting volunteers and staff through to making sure everyone on the team has what they need to do their best work for NK's members.
Because NK is largely volunteer-led, Hope's role carries a particular weight: she's building and supporting a team of young people balancing NK alongside their own studies, jobs and commitments — and making sure that's sustainable, not something that quietly burns people out.
Owns the member experience at NetworKING UK end-to-end — from the moment someone submits an application, through onboarding, and into the ongoing experience of being an active NK member.
Odelia is particularly focused on making sure every member, regardless of background or how they found NK, understands what's available to them and feels comfortable taking full advantage of it.
Builds and manages the relationships that sit behind almost everything a NetworKING UK member experiences — from the opportunities on the board to the firms hosting insight days and panel discussions.
Khadijah's commitment to social mobility comes through most clearly in how seriously she takes access: a well-known company's name on an opportunity means little if it isn't genuinely reachable by a state-school student with no existing network.

The UK's most ambitious Year 12–13 students, in one room, with the universities, employers and apprenticeship providers who will shape what comes next — at the Queen Elizabeth II Centre, Westminster.
Delivered in partnership by NetworKING UK — a social mobility organisation — and Gradify, the platform helping students navigate university and degree apprenticeship applications, the Future Careers Conference is the flagship event of the NK calendar: the biggest room NetworKING UK puts a stage in front of, all year.
Where you grow up, which school you attend and who your family already knows still shapes who gets a shot at the best universities, employers and apprenticeships in the UK. The Future Careers Conference exists to close that gap — putting students in front of the universities, employers and apprenticeship providers who can open doors.
